Truer

Heart

Severed in two

Hurting, shaming, blaming

Anger, fear, sadness, despair

Real and raw

Weeping heart. Forever changed

But Why?

There is no answer to Why.

Fortress.

High, thick, impermeable

Nothing out, nothing in

Protecting, nurturing, holding

Defending, armed for battle.

Could be worse.

Never challenge worse; it lurks nearby

Mend

Like sunlight streaming through tall firs

Beaming through and in

Slowly. Invite love in.

Cradle like healing hands

Soothing, nourishing

Soul longing for peace

Boundaries

Porous. Walls crumbling

Truth woven by loom of compassion

Rising strong, truth conquers fear

Creative self, truer self, forever changed.
