When the joy bucket is emptied, we are depleted and have low emotional energy for relationships and exercise caution in decision making and actions. When we are depleted, and lack joy, it impacts everything else in our life. Refilling your joy bucket is essential for a resilient self-care practice. Joy is a complex emotion but is easy to cultivate through a daily practice of choosing actions that bring a sense of warmth, soothing and connection to self and others.
