40 Days of light

Our last 40-Day Meditation invited us beyond imagining a new life and into living it—into embodying a vision as if it were already here. Guided by Yoshuku—The Japanese Art of Manifesting, we moved through daily practices and quiet rituals, opening space for our deepest intentions to take root.

As the days lengthen and the light returns, we turn to the sun as our teacher. Without it, there is no light. And within that truth, a gentle reminder: we, too, are meant to carry light—to reflect it, to live by it, to become it.

This next journey unfolds a little differently. Rather than 40 consecutive days, we will move through 40 days of practice over 55 days—allowing space to soften, to integrate, to let what we are cultivating settle more deeply into our lives.

The past year has stirred much within and around us—fear, anxiety, anger, and a shared sense of grief. As uncertainty and unrest continue to move through our world, we are offered a choice: to remain in contraction, or to open to something deeper.

This practice is an invitation to release what no longer serves, to loosen our grip on judgment, and to step beyond fear. It is a return to what is steady and true—unity, presence, gratitude, and a quiet, enduring love.

Together, we will cultivate a way of being that welcomes light into the heart. Not as something distant or ideal, but as something lived—felt in stillness, heard in deep listening, revealed through patience, and carried forward with intention.

In recent years, our practice has centered on gratitude, hope, grace, flourishing, joy, unconditional love, calm, and peace. This time, we turn our focus to light—inviting new ways of being fully present in each moment.

Over these 40 days, we will come together as a supportive and intentional community. Through daily practice, shared learning, and connection, we create space to bring more light and love into our lives—and into the lives of those around us.

Meditation is one of the most powerful practices for human flourishing, supporting both our well-being and our capacity for love and gratitude.

Within each of us is an innate system often called the Renewal Response—our natural counterpart to the stress response. It is both activated by love and, in turn, generates more love. Cultivating this response requires intention and attention. It begins with awareness: noticing what is happening within, meeting it with presence, and choosing how we respond. From this place, we are better able to move through challenge with compassion, clarity, and care.

The way we respond to our inner and outer experiences has a ripple effect—touching those around us in ways we may never fully see.

We invite you to join us from the comfort of your own home for this Kundalini meditation practice. Whether you are new or experienced, a daily practice can support inner strength, steadiness, and a deeper sense of ease and flow.

All are welcome—especially those who feel called to be part of a community grounded in growth, awareness, and shared intention.

What will we do?

Each 30-minute practice begins with a brief teaching, followed by a tuning-in mantra. We then move into 5 minutes of gentle yoga stretches, movement, breathwork, and postures, before settling into an 11-minute meditation. Each session concludes with savasana and a short closing blessing, poem, or passage.

We will draw inspiration from The Secret Language of Light card deck, using it as a source of reflection and guidance throughout the practice. Our teachings will also be guided by The Ten Light Bodies of Consciousness, offering a deeper framework for exploration and awareness.

Kundalini Yoga is a powerful practice designed to be accessible to everyone—of all ages, body types, and backgrounds. Often called the yoga of awareness, it combines movement, breathwork, relaxation, and meditation into a complete daily practice.

Through repetitive movement, conscious breathing, and deep relaxation, we support and strengthen the nervous system. Over time, this helps build resilience, clarity, and energy—allowing us to meet the demands of daily life with greater steadiness and ease.
